Kenneth Sumner has studied Guang Ping Yang TaiJiquan over 20 years, and has been teaching at Wen Wu School for the last eight years.  His primary teacher was the late Grandmaster Y.C. Chiang from whom he learned the foundation.  Kenneth’s focus at Wen Wu School has been promoting health and wellbeing through the detailed study and correction of the 64 movement Guang Ping Yang form.  In addition, he learned Xingyi, Bagua and Ru Crane as well as weapons sets.  Outside of Wen Wu School, he has studied applications and regularly engages with students and teachers of a variety of martial styles.

Robert Nakashima began his taiji studies in 1994 under Sifu Henry Look, who introduced him to the Guang Ping Yang style.  Soon after, Robert began participating in taiji competitions, ultimately winning a Grand Championship in 1996.  He also holds a third degree Black Belt in Okinawan Uechi Ryu karate.  He is co-founder of WarriorHeart, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing instruction in taiji and related practices to those with chronic illness.  Currently, Robert teaches private and small group classes in Taiji, Xingyi and Neigong in Sacramento CA.

Warm-ups will be held each day before the workshops by additional leaders.
